MODERN VENUS

The exhibition showcases the works of art of five different artists from Germany, Austria and Turkey. The theme of the exhibition portrays the mythological goddess, Venus, who is the personification of beauty and love and her current symbolic power has fascinated artists of all genres, since ancient times. The aspects of pop culture, idealisms and eroticism are the main focus of the artists' works and thus show their own interpretation of the modern Venus - viewed as either male or female.
